After School For Credit Program
Opportunity Knocks at Eaton Academy!
Geared to students attending other area High Schools, the After School For Credit Program at Eaton Academy is well-suited to any student who has either of the following needs:
- academic advancement, such as preparation for higher-level courses
- academic recovery (especially as an alternative to summer school)
Students may enroll in up to two courses at a time, and they attend whenever they choose according to their needs. Instruction is individualized in a small-group setting, and Eaton communicates regularly with students' parents throughout the enrollment period.
Days/Times: Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $995 per semester course
Highlights:
- Goal-Directed: Students take high school courses intended for academic recovery or advancement
- SACS Accredited: Coursework credits will be applied to the student's regular program, and a transcript is sent to the student's current school upon successful course completion.
- Flexible: The student attends whenever he or she chooses — no fixed schedules!
- Effective: Individualized instruction is provided within a small group setting, maximizing the student's learning.
- Accelerated: Enrollment is permitted in up to two courses simultaneously.
- Closely Monitored: Progress reports are emailed to parents every week during enrollment.
Please note: Coursework must be completed within the academic year to earn credit.
